    I'm trying to create karaoke songs n recod them in vcd mode, so I can play them in my dvd player.

    I can use subtitles, but the its colors will be the same through the song.

    Any ideas, softwares that does that, or others???

    You can highlight individual words on karaoke VCD subtitles. If you are using SSA scripts this is possible.
    Note SSA scripts are used by subtitler filter for VirtualDub.
