  1. I have 16 hours of video from a seminar.

The speaker had a huge banner behind him with a domain name on it.

I need to blur out the banner completely.

    Is this possible to do?

Any suggestions on WHO can do it for me?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Hi-
Any suggestions on WHO can do it for me?
Hehe, I can. I do that kind of thing all the time when editing menus. My tool of choice is AviSynth and the Overlay command, placing something else over what I don't want. The something else can be something completely new and different (your own banner, maybe?), or, as in your case, a blurred out version of the original, perhaps using vcmohan's HBlur filter:

But what you're asking isn't all that difficult (although with 16 hours of material, it's probably pretty time consuming), and I expect there are many people around here that can also do the job, perhaps using some NLE or other, like Vegas, for example.

Are you just trying to cover a loco with a blur or overlay? If a person walks into the area they will be blurred or covered as well.

Are you doing this to avoid some kind of legal liability? It would likely have the opposite effect with a jury if it was shown you actively obscurred ownership. Avoiding a royalty is one thing... and so on.

  4. For 8 months, I've been working on a new web site called Creative Real Estate World.

we will have a lot of video on the site if we can get some of the issues resolved with clarity.

We had a huge banner made with that domain name and the banner was behind the speaker at one of our seminars.

On Friday, we got notice that someone else has a trademark for creative real estate.

Since it is all over the internet, who would have thought...

Instead of fighting it, we are just going to change everything that has that domain name on it.

That's why we need to blur out OR CHANGE the name on the banner.

And we want to try to do it so it still looks decent.

So you have something like this and you want to remove a banner like the one here in the lower center? That will be tough. How many seconds to minutes do you need to change?
