    Is there a device that will let me play AVI or for that matter multiformat on a SD media card
    on my television.

    I would like to watch videos from my digital camera or from downloads off the internet
    on my TV.

    Appreciate and tips.

    Some dvd players with divx support have a sdcard port embedded.

    I don't remeber the play capabilty..

    but back at xmas tie i looked at 2 devices that would take a video input and record directly to sd card in mpeg4 format

    its called the sandisc v-mate

    I belive its mainly a recorder

    I also think aptec has a video camera with A/V out that will play video from the card and connect directly to the TV av input, but i'm sure it plays a limited number of formats like mp4, NOT Xvid avi
