    hi after a fresh install i have tried to install version svcd2dvd v2.5 it installs fine but then when it wants register it then comes with a error [svcd2dvd warning very important please edit box 2 (name) to anything over 8 characters

    It is not an error - just a warning. Just change the Name bit to a longer entry - anything over 8 characters
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    ive tried to put everything in there to private99999 to private-pc
    but still the same and also put my name space surname there
