using megui

Well i am currently using megui to encode something to x260 and its taking like 20 hours or so for it to do the complete job. Anyways i was wondering is this normal for doing this kind of stuff and taking this long? another thing is there another program out there that will do as good as megui and take less time to encode something to x264 and etc? I dont mind waiting but i think 20 hours is alittle too long for something to get encoded.

What is something? What is your source video details?
What video settings are you using? what video resolution? are you using 2-pass encoding?

but h264 encoding is slow.

Well im more of a newbie to using megui and such so i am kind of using default settings btw i was encoding it to x264 and to two cd's. Anyways do you have anything info that i should change to make the process and etc go faster? Because as of right now its going at like 3.60fps. btw yes its two pass encoding.
