Hi,
I'm trying to find the best way to be able to play back 6 discrete channels of surround audio trough my soundcard. I'm thinking of converting the VOB file to an mov with AC3 audio so I can open it in Quicktime. That way I can use the A52 codec for core audio to play back the six channels. Now is my question, the dialnorm imbedded on the DVD, is it stored in the AC3 audio and if yes, with ripping trough FFMPEGX, is going to read the dialnorm and adjust according (+ using compression), or where can you set this?
Thanks
Robin
