sony vegas 6.0 + Dvd problems

I just got it and when i finished my movie i saved it but then after it was done i tried playing it and it was 0 seconds and also the movie file is in anf sfl file and i dont know anything about those ca someone help!

There is a difference between saving and rendering. Saving saves the project file with a .veg extension. This contains details about your source file locations, the edits and effects you have added etc. That's all it is.

To get video you have to go File -> Render As, set your output type and compression, and this will encode your video.

sfl fils are temp files created for the audio portions of your edit (in addition to what guns1inger said)

i have the same problem, after i render the video to Architect file,like dar , i got a sfl file!!!

i did another post with vob files changed into pdvd files, all tis problem ocurred when i removed the horrible Power DVD software......i can't get the sfl file changed , itried and tried to open with different ..., changing the extension, and nothing.

If you said sfl are temo files, how can i make the file ready to work with architect recognizable by Arc, sorry for hijack this thread, but after 4 hours working with Vegas and to be stopped by this fricking file is very hard........thanks for your replys BJ_M

but if i'm going to work with architect, the above mpg file will be recognizable by architect? and i did the previous slf fle rendered as DVD architect video stream
