Nero: DVD-Video option disabled?

I have just bought a HP DVD 100i ReWriter which seems to be working ok. But when I start Nero 5.5 and select 'DVD', then 'Compile a New DVD', then 'Other DVD fomats' (as opposed to Data DVD), there are then 3 possible choices: "Audio+Data Mixed", "Video DVD" or "Create a DVD from an Image file".

The trouble is only the 3rd option is available to me, the other two are greyed out and disabled!?!

Does anyone know why this is? The point of buying this was to create DVD videos from my dv video camera.

I am using a Philips DVD+RW disc which even says it is 'two-way compatible: DVD Video and DVD+RW"

nero cant author dvd-video so you have to author the dvd with an other tool like mydvd/dvdit/spruce up or something and then you can either burn directly with that tool or make dvd to hard disc.....thenyou can burn it with nero www.vcdhelp.com/nerodvd.htm
