vcdeasy- burned vcd just fine, but plays slow

i burned a vcd with vcdeasy and it works on my dvd player, the chapters work on it just fine too. i just need to figure out why its playing so slow, it kind of stutters as it plays along.

Firstly, have you successfully made another VCD before that played well in your DVD player?

Secondly, how did you encode your MPEG?
