    Hi

I have a DV-AVI video that is over 3gb and i want to convert it into a format(i prefer quicktime) that will reduce it's size but without reduce the quality very much. I want to put this video in a presentation in Macromedia Director. I have searched many compressors in Quicktime format but the video is still huge. Any ideas.

    THanks

You might look into Flash format. Since Macromedia markets a Flash converter I would think it would be compatible. Generally Flash video is very compact. There is a freeware FLV converter: Riva FLV Encoder

FLV is a good idea but i would like something else, maybe a Quicktime compression or something.
