Hey I've finaly got this ******* card to work in Vdub.
I have ripped in 480x576 and it gotten way better then it was before, but the still is some problems.
I can't get any sound??? The quality is not the best, the picture is not the best and I cant se that in the subtitels there is some little black stibes???
I have tried thise codecs:
PicVideo 2.0 MJPEG Codec (unregistered)
Huffyuv 2.1.1 Codec
I think it's the first that is the best.
Please write if you know/have an idea of how to fix this.

Hey Dudes,
back to that sound problem. I use Virtualdub and no matter what resolution I use, it never records any sound. The only time it ever recorded was when I grabbed directly from the "PCTV Vision" window. As one might know it is only possible to record in 320x240 and that sucks of course. How do I have to set up Virtualdub to record sound along with the Video?
thanks

I Just figured out the same thing. When I caught it, I could just kick myself.
Basically what it boils down to is this:
You would think that since VDub is playing the audio with the video that the audio would be captured. Furthermore, since VDub is getting its channel and audio settings from the pctv viewer settings, where you had previously set it up to record through line-in that you were all set.
Turns out that is not the case. In order to enable audio you need to go into the sounds control panel, select the audio tab, click on the volume button in the recording section, and make sure that the line-in check box is checked. Once that is done VDub knows where to get the audio from. -
I have also the pinnacle pctv.
I had the same problem but yesterday I tried it again and it works in Virtual Dub. I don't know why because I didn't change the settings. If I know why, I write it in here!
PS: It works but I capture videos with the PCTV program because I think it looks better (i know its only 320x240 but i think the transitions are softer -> I capture the simpsons). In virtual dub i used pic video mjpeg codec!
