    Big PROBLEM!!

    I've been testing something and this is my conclusion-
    Encoding a standard vcd into an xvcd or xsvcd using CQ, CQ_VBR, VBR, or MVBR for some reasons causes the middle to the end of the movie to get further and further out of sync! Does anyone know why?

    No, thats not it

    The fps on the mpgs are 29.97 and i encode at 29.97.
    I can encode avis fine with CQ but not mpgs with CQ, or vbr, or mvbr, or cq_vbr.

    I can only use cbr to make it stay in sync and its makin me MAD.
    The original mpg that is being used to encode is fine all the way thru the movie
