Can you take a bunch of mpg files that are vcd compliant and burn them all onto a dvd-r in vcd format so you can play them back on your set top player?

Have tried this with bad results.
The good news is that I fitted 4 x VCD movies on 1 DVD rom including audio.
The bad news is that when burnt and tested on a home DVD player would be a green screen one about 3 of the files and 1 played but then froze. Audio would carry on.
Am now trying to make a DVD rom but increasing the rate conrol on TMPEG to 1850 which is supposed to be DVD standard then will have a go with that.
So hopefully if this works, then you will have to do system as well as audio.
Sonic`s MyDVD does not work with this process sadly as think that looks better than spruce up.
