    Hi,
    I'm doing a project that deals with the MPEG2 standard.

    First, i need program that extract any info about each frame( MV,MB,DCT Values, I,P,B ) and that it will be available to analyze it in Matlab(for example).

    Secondly, i need a program that will extarct only the video stream from a general(audio and video) mpeg2 file, but that the program won't change the structure of the video ( No rencoding ).

    Of course if the programs are free its better.

    If you use TMPGenc Free , and within that MPEG Tools - that will demux the 2 streams to video and/or audio , its worked for me faultlessly since I started using it , Im sure others will recommend their program of choice as well for you to compare .

    Dont know of any program to do the analysis , sorry .
