    I am capturing Standard TVBroadcast with the Pinnacle dc10 plus card and then editing with Pinnacle studio 9 as well as burning then to a dvd video disc.
    The picture quality is much better than when I cap with the same dc 10 plus a vhs tape from my jvc VHS recorder.
    Why is that?

    The source quality of your TV broadcast is much higher than the VHS capture.

    And the DC10+ is ........ ordinary IMHO.
