Hi,
I've got about 251 quicktime trailers I am trying to convert to DVD format, MPEG2. A lot of them are the new 'HD' trailers from www.apple.com/trailers. I use TMPGEnc to convert them, but when I try doing a batch encode of about 8 at a time, TMPGEnc constantly freezes after the first one or two when it gets to 100%. It just completley locks up and wont go any further.
I have installed that Quicktime Reader plugin. It works fine for doing one at a time, but I got a lot of trailers I want to get off my hard drive.
Is it because of the new HD format they are encoded in? or is there another good program to convert them to dvd format?
I use Adobe Encore 1.5 for the dvd authoring, but that only accepts files 720*576, otherwise I would just import the quicktime files directly into that.
Thanks for any assistance!

The freezing or lock up, is a known problem with TMPGEnc batch program. I don't think they will ever fix it. If you need a batch encoder, you will have to use something else. CCE, Canopus ProCoder, etc. Here is a whole list of other encoders.

Ok, I downloaded CCE SP Trial, but I get an error message straight away:
"GdipLoadImageFromFile failed :3"
anyone else have any particular software they could recommend?
Just for testing, I imported an HD trailer into Adobe Premier, it says there is no sound file lol.
