Up until a couple of weeks ago I cared little about subtitles but then I got interested in the subject. Until a few days ago I also didn't make a distinction between subs and captions.
I learned how to capture a tv movie and also capture the captions in one step using WinvdrPro and Graphedit. Until a couple of days ago I was converting the captions to subs using many of the tools described in the excellent threads here and creating subtitles that work.
I have had no real problems with that but now I want to keep them as captions and insert them in my test DVD's as line 21 captions (not subs).
In one of the threads here a user mentionned that DVD Maestro can import line 21 captions as well as subs.
My questions :
1) What DVD authoring programs other that DVD Maestro can import line 21 captions and save them in the same format as captions not subs.
2) Can any program do this for divx. I have successfully created divx subs (srt) so that is not a problem, I know how to do that thanks to the previous threads here and on Doom9. .
Thanks

Well I found one reference that says Scenarist can handle closed captions also.
Seems to be all dead software so I can't confirm if either of these do work.
Scenarist is not technically dead (last update 2003) but at that price it might just as well be
Sorry BJ_M I added the last part while you posted
