Nero CD-i application function :-?

Hi,

I have been using Nero 4.091 to burn VCD for a year. I just upgraded it to version 5.564 (the newest one I believed). I saw there is a new thing called "CD-i application" under the VCD burning menu. I can either check it or uncheck it.

Can someone tell me what is it?

For a VCD to be truly compliant it must have the CD-i app included. However, unless you ever come across an old CD-i player, it has absolutely zero functional relevance to playback.
