DVDit timeline not responding

Hi there, I’m using DVDit SE 2.5 that I downloaded as an upgrade ($100) to the LE version that came with my Maxtor RT 2500. Here are the problems I’m having so far…..1.When I try to move the slider along the timeline, the slider will not move, just sit there and flicker. 2. I can create a chapter by double clicking on the timeline but can’t add one by right clicking. 3. When I click on a chapter, neither the playhead or video will go to the chapter location.

What I have tried:
Originally I installed SE (without Power DVD) over LE and the Maxtor DVD player.
Then I uninstalled SE, LE, and the Maxtor DVD player then installed SE with Power DVD.
Then I redownloaded SE and reinstalled it. (after removing SE and Power DVD).
The problem Is still there. Please help me if you can.

Intel P3 1Gb
Maxtro G450 32mb video card (dual turned off)
Win 2000
Maxtor RT 2500
DVDit SE (was using LE version that came with RT2500. I downloaded the SE version form your site)

Hold the CTRL down, hold left click and slide

Double clicking adds chapter points. Right clicking on chapter point will bring up DELETE option.

3. When I click on a chapter, neither the playhead or video will go to the chapter location.
