    I have burning home movies and recorded TV shows either as DVD or Divx format using SOHW-832S Lite-On.

    Whenever I play the movies on a DVD Player or Divx/Dvd Player, anything burned constantly skips especially worst on the further into the burn or movie/tv show.

    I tried various DVD+/- R. I use the slowest speed possible.

    What causing skipping, pausing or jumping, jerking while playing burned DVD +/- R?

    What brand of disc are you using? have you ran any test on these burned discs for read errors?

    Yes, sounds like bad media/bad burn.

    Most often this problem is media related. Either cheap/bad media or your player(s) don't like the brand that you are using.

    Try looking up your standalone(s) in the DVD Players section and see what brand/types of media others have had success using.
