I finally managed to get WME to accept M2V files for conversion. (I used Cyberlink's Power DVD mpeg-2 decoder. It works most of the time.)
I'm changing over several short cartoons. Some translate fine to WMV, but there are a few that have problems with pans.
I don't know if it's an interlace problem. I'm not seeing the jaggy edges that would indicate interlacing. I did choose "de-interlace" in the preferences anyway.
Instead, there's a noticible stutter on left-right pans.
Here's a short example of what I'm talking about: http://animatusstudio.com/sharksbadpan.wmv
The car seems to be moving fine, but the street and buildings are jumping.
Any ideas?

Actually, from what I can tell, the cars are doing it too. Almost looks like you are dropping frames. What are your input and output specs?
