  1. I have a P3 533B 256 MB of ram and a GeForce 2 MX 400. Whenever I try to watch a DIVX thats not a cartoon it runs in slow motion, audio and video does anyone have any ideas?

  2. I had the problem with a divx file that sounds similar. I could open it until the cows came home and it would always be slow motion or it would play normally after uninstalling and installing codecs but there would be no audio. I think it had to do with the audio encoding, i think it was AC-3 and therefore would not run in Windows media player but i opened it with PowerDVD XP and the audio was decoded in multichannel and it played back perfectly. If you have a DvD prog that can open Avi files try it and if not i there there is a demo for PowerDVD XP but it has some sort of time limit so try it out and if the video works you know it is an audio codec problem
