  1. I use DVD Audio Ripper when ripping music from DVDs and have had nothing but success up to now. However, I picked up the Springsteen 30th Anniversary edition of "Born To Run" which includes a live DVD and the sound is mega quiet and hissy on Windows Media Player and similarly when I try to rip it using DVD Audio Ripper. The sound is as it should be when I play it through Nero's Showtime program. Any explanations and suggestions for another audio ripper that I can use?
    Cheers

Well you could try dvddecrypter in stream processing mode and get just the ac3 off the disc. Then use besweet to convert it to wav or mp3.
