After burning DIVX DVD rip I have a couple files that are very dark. Not all though. Can someone help?

Well the only real way I can think of to fix that would be to sharpen the color, but that would require a re-encode of stuff. But vdub has some filters to brighten color and others.

Before you do anything drastic like permanently changing the colour to your rips, make sure that you've correctly set up your PC monitor!!
Most PCs have the gamma of their PC monitors set way too low --> video looking too dark.
Use a tool like that included with Adobe Photoshop to adjust the gamma of your PC monitor.
