  1. Whats the meaning of DVD version VCD. I have seen the DVD version VCD's and they are of better image quality. Can anyone explain this term and also how do u create such DVD version VCD's?

    Do you mean DVD-VCDs ?

    DVD-VCD
    is basicly a VCD authored on a DVD. DVD supports the VCD resolution but the audio has to be resampled to 48 khz. If the audio is resampled to 48 khz it is standard DVD-Video.

    Its not a DVD. Its a VCD only but it says that its DVD version and the image quality is also good.
    Basically its a VCD Version 2.0 only and plays in all VCD players.

    Prolly just means the source when creating the VCD was a DVD, as opposed to a DVD that's been ripped to AVI that's been encoded to VCD (which is often the case). The quality difference is usually not insignificant.
