    Hey,
I'm new to ffmpegx so I don't know much about it, and I tried searching but with no luck: I have a few AVI files (currentley playing with VLC) and I want to change them so I can view them in quicktime. I want to do this so I can put them in iTunes so all my movies are in the same place. Can ffmpegx do this? I tried it just going to MOV and after it was done it played in QT but there was a white screen and all I could hear was the audio. Thanks guys!

Chances are that you'll be able to play the original AVI files in Quicktime after installing the DivX codec.
