  1. I bought a Dvico M-3000U the other day and I have a few avi files with the specification below that won't play on my device. They play fine on my PC though.

    Questions.

1: Will the Dvico be able to play this file? It seems strange if it doesn't, considering it claims to also play DVD ISO files.

    2. If it won't ever play these types of file. What external (non PC) playback devices could handle these types of files. I'd like to be able to buy a standalone avi player of some sort to handle them.

    Thanks.

Not many standalone devices supports high resolutions divx/xvid yet, the new sigmatek chipset divx/xvid/wmv players supports it: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=&Search=Search&chipset=Sigma+EM8620L&c...Submit2=Search

or check if you find some firmware updates for your device.
