  1. What exact media are you useing and which media store are you useing.
Since prices/media/stores are constantly changing ... I made this thread time dated for the MONTH of OCT 05!

Also... you can add burner and success rate etc. ... if you think that is important for all of us to know about.

I bought tyg01 value pack 4x dvd-r from supermedia store for 25 cents a piece a month ago ... and i'm getting 99 percent success rate... i burn it at 4x in pioneer a08.

I just put in order for tyg02 8x dvd-r from supermedia store for 29 cents per disk bought 300 disks... and I'll let you know how it burns when I get them.

Verbatim MCC 16X InkJet Printable DVD-R from Sam's Club.

The price was $41.99+tax. They burn great at 16X on my Pioneer DVR-A09XLB.

Fuji 8x DVD+R, (media code: YUDEN000 T02) on sale this week ay Best Buy for $18/50 pack. Last week, they were $35/100 pack.

NOTE: The Yuden discs say "Made in Japan" on the packaging, next to the UPC, not "Made in Taiwan." Although Japanese media is in the minority, it is often randomly mixed in with the Taiwanese media on the shelf.

They work great on my Sony DRU-810a (which is also on sale at Best Buy for $100 - $20 mail-in = $80). Of course I bought the burner for $120 when it was new and not on sale .

I've been using Prodisc 4X -R (S03) and still have about a hundred to go, then I will switch to the Prodisc 8X. They both work fine with all my burners and players, no coasters in 200+ burns. I got the last batch from Meritline, forgot the price.
