  1. Not sure if this is the right forum but anyway, I am using Ulead VideoStudio 5 with DVD plugin installed with all patches. I rendered small clip as 720x480 res with 3500 bitrate (my DVD player reads it w/o problem). When I used DVD plugin to export the movie and burn it on cd, my computer software IntervideoDVD sees it as DVD movie. When I go to DVD player, it shows me 2 directories one wit audio one with video. I can choose and play video, but there is no audio. Quality of video is wonderful. Why doesnt' my DVD playr see the cd as DVD? My computer does! I am very puzzled. Did I create DVD on regular CDR? Is it possible! Please help Maybe there is a trick to make DVD. I appreciate any ideas

verry verry verry verry few DVD players can understand what you've created.

It's a firware issue, the player can't understand why their is a DVD file structure on a CD.

It doesn't know what to do with the data.

  3. Greg thanks for the info. Now what the heck then DVD plugin is good for. One must use DVDRW drive and make DVDR with it?
