mkv to avi.....having problem with joining audio with video

i've read all the guides here about it but i get stuck in one place:

i used mkvextract_gui to extrack the video and the audio that i want, the format of the audio is aac, i use virtualdubmod to join the two but it doesn't join aac with avi, so convert it to wav then mp3, somehow i can't just convert from aac to mp3....(i also did ogm to mp3) but thats not the real problem, when i play the joined file the audio is off with the video, i then played them seperately one by one and found out that the video timing is(ms) 21:14 and the audio is 25:16......

so i want to join them but the timing is off, any help is appreciated

it could be vfr(variable frame rate) video....i would then give up...

how long is the mkv clip?

oh f*ck, i was hoping no one would say that.... the original mkv is 25:16
