  1. Hi I just did a back up of Lilo&Stitch2 and the darn thing freezes up the whole DVD player. I used DVD dycrypter to extract the DVD to the hard drive. Then I loaded that to VobBlanker. I blanked everything except the menu and the main movie. I processed that into a new DVD file. I loaded that file into DVD shrink, took out all the extra audio except DTS 5.1Ch English. There was no compression needed, with room to spare. I made the iso through DVDshrink, and burnt it with Nero. Now, when I play the back up, it goes straight into the movie, but it also locks up the DVD. I can't do a single thing, not even turning off the DVD player. The remote is unresponsive as well as the buttons on the player itself. I have to unplug the machine so I can then turn it back on, and eject the DVD. Any clues as to what could cause this. BTW, I've backed up movies with this process many, many times. This is the first time I've come up with this issue. Thanks for any help.

There could be a number of problems. The media used can be an issue. Like Abond mentioned, you need to have at least AC3 track (or LPCM) on the dvd, otherwise it does not meet dvd specification and can pose problems with some dvd players.
