Does anyone know what the system requirements are for this software? I am considering buying a dvd player for my older computer and was wondering if it could handle playing a dvd? It has 450mhz 192mb ram 16mb voodoo card.

I doubt it would play smoothly, but I could be wrong.

Why not try playing a MPEG-2 on it with similar bitrate to a DVD and you should be able to get some idea. Just put it on your hard drive and play it from there. If you look to the left under 'What is DVD' there are samples there.

I have an old 450 mhz PC. That has a 2 year old Lite on in it. And it plays DVD's with no issues. It also has 512 megs of ram, 32 meg video card and a 40 gig hd. I have powerdvd 5 and vlc. Both play with no issues.
