    I recently purchased a Hitachi DZ-MV730 DVD camcorder. I am now wondering what is the best way to go about transfering it to the hard drive and the best program for editing it. (something like Studio) Also does it make a difference if I have recorded onto DVD-R instead of RAM.

    Firstly, USB &/or Firewire. Secondly, Vegas or Premiere. Thirdly, Ram is good also DVD - or +. I prefer DVD-RW , Vegas, Firewire.
