  1. I am having trouble with TSVC working. It used ot work on this machine before my last re install of everything.
I get this error when I try to double click on the mpeg to add chapters.
    Fehler
error: '23,97' ist kein gultigerGleitkommawert IT is German so I dont know what it is. but I think it has to do with the 23.97 fps of the mpeg?
Is there any other way to make chapters on a vcd?
Here is the other error I get in TSVC when I try to output the bin files.
    Starting VCDxBuild process...

C:\Program Files\TSCV\TSCV.xml:32: error: xmlParseEntityRef: no name
    <sequence-item src="D:\Movies AVI's & Music Videos\NUGE - Cat Scratch Fever
    ^
    parsing file `C:\Program Files\TSCV\TSCV.xml' failed

    VCDxBuild finished

Possible Error: Please check your XML or send it to TSCV@ttool.de
    any idea whats wrong?
    thanks

  5. I've done many NTSC Film VCDs. In order for TSCV to like it you must have the framerate set to 23.96. At least thats what I use every time I do NTSC Film movies.

  6. Thanks guys...Ok I got TSVC working ...I have created 2 bin files and burned to cdrw's with success but....
I followed your guide Marty and made my motion menus as the second menu after a main menu (still menu) but the motion menu does not work or show up on the dvd player....
I had it set to press the number 2 on main menu and it wont work.
    any ideas?
also how do I get the time remaining to show up on a vcd?
anyone know? It was there on one test I did yesterday now its gone...weird.
    thanks again...Im getting there...

  7. I made one successfully with motion menus....thanks again Marty.
But second vcd motion menus dont work.
I have another weird problem ...when I start the vcd in my Pioneer dv 440 it says pbc what is that?
then if I do a search for a time setting it changes the front panel to say vcd 2.0 which is ok and it shows time remaining etc...but...
it only shows 3 chapters and when you try to advance it goes back to the motion menu.
    anyone know why?
what is the best format to choose? vcd 1 or 2?
I want the time remaining to show up!
    What does pbc mean?
    thanks
