    When encoding using TMPGenc, it produces an mpeg and an audio file.
    Can I make it produce 1 mpeg file that has both video and sound which would be easier to import in DVD authoring software like Click to DVD or Nerovison Express

    radio checked, you should get one file.
    IMO, all decent authoring apps should (and do) accept elementary streams as source material...
