Is it possible to hide avatars and sigs in posts?

I find animated avatars and animations in sigs annoying. Is there a way to disable these? If there isn't, there should be an option. In other forums I can turn it off/on, but I don't see it as an option here.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I looked for a way to hide the images in the posts, but couldn't find it. I thought I would ask, since maybe I had missed it.

There's a PHP mod to allow it - The Pub has it.

I'm sure there is a mod for it. There is for "almost" anything. But as the forum stands there is no way.

I also fixed so the computer details and member status shouldn't get reseted if you select an avatar from the gallery.

I tried without sigs and avatars and it didn't feel right.
I put back the avatars and I like that much better.

At least now I don't have to go bug eyed trying to swat that stupid spider running across the screen

I tried to change my 'member status' today, and it just reset to 'member' and refuses to change to anything else.

Also part of my sig disappeared, though it shows it's there in my profile.

I also changed some computer details, would this have triggered the problem?

I can't figure out what happened.

EDIT: wierd. Now my sig is back, but the member status hasn't changed.

2nd EDIT: Tried several times, now it suddenly works. I have no idea why.
