  1. hi ! i successfully made a svcd ( mpeg 2 )with subtitle included...I have reached my first goal and now have to reach for the second...i used virtualdub and tmpgenc plus 2.5 full version...i made mpeg 2...but i have only the mpg movie...without the autoload files...when i try to make these with nero this say the movie is <not svcd compliant>...my home dvd system can play yhe movie ,but other no...how can i make these files ?

    Congrats - not many players support SVCD subs (if that's what you've created). Author with VCDEasy. Forget Nero for anything but writing data to disc. But that Nero complains could indicate that there's something incompatible with your encode...

  3. ups...my film resolution is 576 X 278 and VCDEasy say <is not a valid resolution>...what resolution mast have a svcd ?

    Que? If you mean: Is 480*576 PAL SVCD res, then: Yes!

    No, that's the only one.
    Then there's CVD, which in all aspects but resolution is SVCD, but in 352*576 (PAL). It seems like every SVCD capable player plays CVD too. This has the advantage of being a valid DVD resolution too, come the day when you want to "upgrade" your movie to DVD media.
