i used smartripper->flaskmpeg(0.6)->served to tmpgenc(2.01).
i then used vcdeasy (1.03)(with vcdimager 0.7.11) to create
the vcd for checking purposes (no menus, no chapters)
the resulting vcd had about 5 flaws at various points. 'flaws' mean very brief 'flickers' (not sure how to describe
them)
when viewing the mpg file on the computer with windows media
player, there were no problems at the exact points
any idea what the problem could be...
i noticed that vcdeasy/vcdimager had messages that autopadding (of X number) took place because of some unalligned sections
if so, how do i produce perfect alligned mpg file...
thanks...

i've resolved the problem...
before burning the vcd, i used tmpgenc->merge&cut to split the mpg file. as the type, i used the default type
mpge1 - system(automatic). when i changed the type to mpge1 - video cd, everything is fine...
