Ive got a panasonic rv31 and a couple of weeks ago i tried to play a copied film, the player started reading the disk then it stopped...ok so then i tried to eject it with the remote ...nothing happend so tried to eject on the player it self still nothing,25 mins later it finally ejected.....now when i then tried a standard shop bought dvd and same thing it would not read it and would not eject,is it possible that the copied disk could have alterd something inside the player and if so how on earth do i try and fix it...its a uk machine about 18 months old and is totally standard, never messed with any settings....Any advice would be great.

  2. I had the same DVD player at one time. It worked great for about a year and a half and then got an HO2 error, which basically rendered it useless. After searching on the web I found that it's a common error with that model. The DVD players section of this website allows you to look up your model and see user comments/issues of your player.

When I got my error I called panasonic and they gave me instructions on how to reinitialize the player. It didn't work for me but it may work for you. Basically you hold one of the buttons in for a few seconds and it resets your player. You will have to call panasonic to see which button it is, since I don't remember at this point. I switched to a pioneer model which I like much better. The panasonic 100x fast forward is the only feature I miss. The pioneer fast forward is much slower.
