Allrightie - not that I dont know or something but here goes.....
Help to understand the WHY question is needed???????
For starters I currently own a Nova DV-D311 - which plays anything and everything I can throw at it - every single CD/VCD/SVCD or DVD I wish.
so I go out to purchase another that works just as well....
Now I have problems... but thats another story
Right now my second unit is a Magnasonic DVD805-2
- given to me
my problem is this ..... WHY oh WHY will the Nova plays all - yet .. not the Magnasonic???
Let me also state all my shows recorded via NTI 6.7 CD/DVD maker
also note all into A simple mpg format...
Now I really need to understand why most players will not play .mpg and what darn formats do they play????
for entiree families are waiting to watch ..yet again and still no go
Do I need to spend hundreds on a player just to watch a burnt dvd or VCD?
For a trip to the store with my media last year showed that. for out of 20 - 3 played mine.
These are all unknown media before you ask - and if one *cheap* player can play them - why not most????????
