    No

Unless you have a hdtv, you are feeding out a higher signal than what the tv can handle.

  3. The problem you're having is that computers display images in pixels, and televisions display images in lines. Unfortunately when you force the pixels into lines so the TV can display it, you lose some of the clarity. The only way to get a clearer picture is to purchase a TV that has an SVGA input specifically for displaying computer images.

  4. What's an hdtv?I know that it stands for high definition tv but can you give an example of an hdtv?

Also can i put an svga input in my tv?

Is there not any other way to do this on my tv for sure?I woulde really be handy!

You would need to consult your instruction manual. Sorry, but I don't know.

    No

You are still feeding out a image that is a higher resolution than the tv can handle.

It should be in the instructions.

You could either check with the manufacturer or the place you bought it from.

  10. I think you would know if you have an HDTV. They cost quite a bit more than regular TVs and they go out of their way to print "HDTV" all over the box.

The SVGA input would probably look similar to the monitor input that's on the back of your computer.

Your TV is a just a PAL TV (with x2 freq) so it max res (believe me it will not be this) is the equivalent of 756 X 576 pc pixels....which just DO NOT FIT on a TV (800 X 600 bing the closest for PAL)...you may well get a clearer picture though by using 50hz....you will find movies/still pictures/ (bmp's, jpg's etc) and games should look OK on the TV but anything with FONTS or icons will look like garbage.

  12. So is 756 an hdtv?

Ok so i change through the properties the res and grew of the tv not pc monitor right? But it doesn't allow me to change the tv's settings!

    Can Power Strip do something?
