    i have mpeg files which go out of sync whe you skip through them. it is only with mpeg and doesnt happen to avi or .wmv so i think it is a mpeg codec problem. how can i fix this. could i just install a new mpeg codec maybe?

    Try the built in Mpeg2 decoder in MediaPlayerClassic. Perhaps that will work.
