  1. since the upgrade to XP everytime I hit the encode button in tmpeg I get the message "file cannot be created" ccan anybody help please????

    What version are you using? Try to remove TMPGEnc from your system and download the latest version and then try again.

  4. Try to run TMPenc in W2K or Win98 Mode. Right click on EXE -> Properties -> Compatibility -> select the mode

    It works best.

    What version of XP are you using? Pro or Home? I'm using Pro and TMPGEnc works fine.
