English translation: 1 millllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllion AOL icons on your system. Not a bad price for a complete system though.

One of the guys I work with got one like that from AOL last year. Not a bad deal. A lot of AOL crap, but he doesn't know any better.

Appeared to be similar to a E-Machine box. I humored him and suggested at the first major crash, he drop AOL and reformat the HD. He's still happy with it, though.

We get support calls on them all the time. Once I found out you were not forced to sign up with AOL to get the price I decide its not a bad price for a cheapy cheap computer.

Yeah, that's not a bad price. Just format as soon as you start it up.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

But then it wouldn't be optimized no more.... You still have to pay for the AOL for 12 months, taking that into perspective it's not really a good deal unless you want AOL since you would have to pay for it anyway....

On the topic of AOL subscriptions my GF got about 6 months out of them, evertime it came up for the time to actually start paying for the service she would tell them se wanted to cancel and get another month out of it.

Available for $299.99 with a 12-month AOL membership commitment of $23.90 a month, the AOL Optimized PC will be available this month in Office Depot stores, and soon in other major retail locations nationwide.
Aol Membership comes out to $288..... If you take that into account I've seen better e-machines.
