  1. Ive just been bought a Epson R300 printer for christmas.I read in the instructions that it was bluetooth enabled. So i have been to my local computer store and explained what i wanted to do and he sold me a bluetooth adapter.I have read the instructions but am unsure how they connect.Inside the box i have a short usb cable and a short usb stick.
Once i have them connected the right way will they cause a problem with my wireless mouse and keyboard or my wirelss internet connection.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

What frequency is the bluetooth on????

I know my new wireless G is on the 2.4ghz range. Is this what you're asking????

AFAIK Bluetooth uses the same 2.4Ghz Frequency as Wi-Fi. However, I've been using both for a while now and havn't noticed any ill effects.
Bluetooth uses some kind of channel hoping system, and the chances of it clashing with Wi-Fi are remote. Or so I'm told.

As for the mouse/keyboard. I wouldn't worry about that. They tend to use much lower frequency's. My wireless mouse uses 27Mhz.

If the printer has Bluetooth built-in, then I'm assuming the 'stick' you refer to is a Bluetooth 'dongle'. It plugs into your PC's USB port. The lead is most likely a USB extension cable.
