    Hello,

    I am trying to burn 1 hour of dv onto dvd but the process is taking long time. I currently use ulead moviefactory 2 to author and burn to dvd but it takes 4 to 5 hours to do the job on a P3, 1100 mhz , 256 RAM. Is this the normal time ? i wonder if i can try another tool to compare speed.

    Since your computer is nearly 5 years old, encoding video with any tool will be a hideously long task. There's not much you can do to speed it up using your current hardware. You'd need a completely new computer.
