    Hello,

Capmaster - Don't worry, I think at least HALF of those were RERUN in the 80's so we got to share in it. I don't have cable so I can't check out Nick at Night but others can tune those in

It's nice seeing some of those old shows ...some I haven't seen since I was a kid. Then there were others that should stay dead, like "My Mother the Car" with Jerry Van Dyke or "Ozzie's Girls" ..not that Ozzie, but Ozzie Nelson, Rick's dad.

Oh yeah, I knew I'd leave a bunch off of my list. I used to watch The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet all the time. And Sea Hunt ...and Dragnet.

Yep. Adam 12 was a biggie. And Mod Squad (my member status). The Rookies, Mission Impossible, .....if I sat and thought about it I could probably add 100 more to my list that I left off

I remember Perry Mason (the old B/W ones), right after was Peter Gunn. After a few game shows Petticoat Junction was on and then Munsters. I was fortunate enough to watch reruns of Thunderbirds. I remember when most all UHF stations were not network affiliated (try and find any these days). I saw Wizards in "select" theaters and we thought the graphics were awesome. I was in the phase where Disney animation just didn't cut it anymore. I'm still like that these days.

Yep, we had our upn and wb affiliates independent until the 90's. WKBD channel 50 was independent then FOX got them when they started in the 90's. Then Fox switched to WJBK channel 2 which was the CBS affiliate but that jumped to channel 62 which used to be an independent arab channel (I believe it was all ethnic for a long time). Then channel 50 became UPN when it came into existence in 96 I believe.

    Kevin

Channel 20 used to be WXON by the way - for those Detoriters who remember

EDIT - I CAN FORGET about the DEAD THINGS (Red Wings in 80's STUNK untill they picked it up in the late 80's and rocked in the 90's ).

Of course there was the 1984 World Series Champion Detroit TIGERS

I used to have a Dark Purple suit and wore a white T-shirt with solid colored toe socks and sandals. I can't find solid colored toe socks anymore or I'd still be wearing them. Excellent for sports to prevent athletes foot, but I can't stand the striped ones they have nowadays.
