  1. Hi all, I have been working on a small project in which I wish to join ten small clips together using TMPGEnc. Everytime I try and merge them I get an error mesage that they are not compatible. I am assuming that there are differences between the files, bitrate, codec etc. How is it best to convert them all to the same value/format so that they can be joined into one clip?

    Many thanks AW

You might want to look into Womble's MPEG-VCR and it's accompanying guides. That has always worked for my bits and pieces that I take from DVD's to make a compilation. The only problem is will it accept your unknown(at least to me) clips.
I load my clips and "save as" an mpeg file....simple.
