  1. hi-how can i convert my 2 disc avi to a 1 disc dvd easily,with no joint/gaps in the movie??

    easiest way i do it ,is to join the avi's using this method described here

    https://www.videohelp.com/virtualdubedit.htm


    and then load the joined avi's into dvdsanta to convert to dvd.Lots of ways to do this but I have found that way the simplest of all.

    No. Just encode each AVI to the same spec DVD mpeg, then author the 2 mpegs as parts of the same title set. The "joining" is done at the authoring stage (or more to the point - the DVD player will be told to play it seamlessly). Joining is always tricky - what is joined must share the exact same properties, sync issues are commeon...
