    I've been wanting to make an SVCD from and AVI onto a dvd-r/+ disc but unsure what the best way to do so.can someone help me?

    Why start with an avi and make an SVCD to put on DVDr. Why not make it DVD compliant (SVCD is not!).

    There are plenty of guides on methods for doing this if you simply glance to the left of the page and do a little clicking of the mouse.
